Walk Through Walls Co-Director Rania Ghandour

Rania Ghandour is a co-Director at Walk Through Walls. She is a has forged a career across journalism, education and communications. She is passionate about leadership, equity, ethics and citizenship.

In her role as co-Director, Rania has worked with many arts organisations in project delivery, planning, strategy, communications, and profile building. She has held multiple senior management and leadership roles in the community development and arts sectors over the past 15 years.

Rania has worked with a wide range of clients, delivering projects from start to finish. This includes strategic planning, implementation and evaluation of projects with key stakeholders across the community development and arts sectors, including local and state government. She has developed detailed communications plans and timelines, including crisis communication and risk plans, and community and stakeholder engagement surveys for a variety of clients.

Previous roles Rania has held include media and communications manager at the Perth International Arts Festival, features writer at The West Australian newspaper, and secondary and tertiary teacher in Australia and France.

She is a Colloquium alumna of the Cranlana Centre for Ethical Leadership.
